Greg, OK, I will bite. How has he lived a privileged life? From what little I know of it(I have not read his books and certainly do not follow any politicians BS), the man sounds like he grew up dirt poor, got into harvard law via hard work, and then did a life of charity work. That does not pay well.

From what I understand, he IS the American success story (other than being a lawyer, which most are just sleezy anyways).
Now, as to class warfare, how is it wrong to have ppl pay their fair share? I think that getting ppl like romney, W, and even O to pay more than 25%, let alone 25%, is not the least be unfair. In fact, I would argue that everybody above poverty should pay SOMETHING. We have 50% of the ppl not paying a thing, and another 5% or so paying less than 15%, when they were expected to pay at least 33% (and ppl woonder why America is in debt).

Ann Romney was ALREADY a very visible force in her husband's campaign, long before Ms. Rosen inserted her foot into her mouth so ungraciously. It's ridiculous that you're trying to make it seem like she's "just stepped up her game" since last month. I'm not sure what you're agenda is with this, but I'm calling you on it--ridiculous!

It'd be interesting to see an analysis of the chain of command, and who makes how much, from Boasberg down to the cheaters. We're always told that this is a money problem, but when you look at salaries and benefits, it seems like there are a bunch of people making a bunch of money, without much incentive to perform.

And that matters how? He's still part of it. Plus he's lived a fairly privileged life despite the charade he puts on. He no more understands the lives of working and middle class people than does Romney. This is the problem with class warfare. Usually those that forment it for political purposes are in no way connected to those they try to rile up.

Actually, if O/dems can cut a deal with the neo-cons, it actually WOULD be useful.
First off, if we keep the pipes above ground, and require similar environmental rules that CANADA has, then we will not have leaks.
Secondly, this should be done as a trade with the dems. Simply require more money to be spent on converting our passenger cars to electric, commercial cars to Natural Gas, and pay for this with a tax on this pipeline.

It is a good trade-off. BTW, China will NOT be the only users of this oil/products. You can bet on it that a lot of it will go to Japan, Europe, etc.

I could really care less about the pictures, but the statement of higher gas prices yes... seems true to me. I have been hurting at the pump since Obama came into office. And energy independence, no.... also seems right on mark when people like ex-shell president (who voted for Obama) are proving with facts and a plan that we can be energy independent and that it would create millions of jobs for our country. So I find it pretty hard to believe that Obama wants energy independence when his record speaks differently.
