How has he lived a privileged life? From what little I know of it(I have not read his books and certainly do not follow any politicians BS), the man sounds like he grew up dirt poor, got into harvard law via hard work, and then did a life of charity work. That does not pay well.

From what I understand, he IS the American success story (other than being a lawyer, which most are just sleezy anyways).
Now, as to class warfare, how is it wrong to have ppl pay their fair share? I think that getting ppl like romney, W, and even O to pay more than 25%, let alone 25%, is not the least be unfair. In fact, I would argue that everybody above poverty should pay SOMETHING. We have 50% of the ppl not paying a thing, and another 5% or so paying less than 15%, when they were expected to pay at least 33% (and ppl woonder why America is in debt).

Re: Ann Romney to speak at ‘Women for Mitt’ fundraiser in Englewood Friday

Ann Romney was ALREADY a very visible force in her husband's campaign, long before Ms. Rosen inserted her foot into her mouth so ungraciously. It's ridiculous that you're trying to make it seem like she's "just stepped up her game" since last month. I'm not sure what you're agenda is with this, but I'm calling you on it--ridiculous!

Re: Ann Romney to speak at ‘Women for Mitt’ fundraiser in Englewood Friday

Ahhh, it's the 1% solution to electing ole'Mitt.

Re: Suspicions of widespread cheating at two Denver elementaries spur investigation

“It is happening because of the focus on strong teaching, high-quality school leadership around a rigorous core curriculum with a district that is relentlessly focused on growth and results,” Superintendent Tom Boasberg said at the time.

It'd be interesting to see an analysis of the chain of command, and who makes how much, from Boasberg down to the cheaters. We're always told that this is a money problem, but when you look at salaries and benefits, it seems like there are a bunch of people making a bunch of money, without much incentive to perform.

Re: Billboards about energy independence compare Obama, Dems to Iranian leader

And that matters how? He's still part of it. Plus he's lived a fairly privileged life despite the charade he puts on. He no more understands the lives of working and middle class people than does Romney. This is the problem with class warfare. Usually those that forment it for political purposes are in no way connected to those they try to rile up.

Re: Billboards about energy independence compare Obama, Dems to Iranian leader

LOL.
You neo-cons are JUST too much.http://www.randomuseless.info/gaspric...

It was higher under W until he crash the economy. But hey, I know that you neo-cons simple ignore facts and will google faux news or blogs to support your garbage without a single fact to back it up.

Re: Billboards about energy independence compare Obama, Dems to Iranian leader

Actually, if O/dems can cut a deal with the neo-cons, it actually WOULD be useful.
First off, if we keep the pipes above ground, and require similar environmental rules that CANADA has, then we will not have leaks.
Secondly, this should be done as a trade with the dems. Simply require more money to be spent on converting our passenger cars to electric, commercial cars to Natural Gas, and pay for this with a tax on this pipeline.

It is a good trade-off. BTW, China will NOT be the only users of this oil/products. You can bet on it that a lot of it will go to Japan, Europe, etc.

Re: Billboards about energy independence compare Obama, Dems to Iranian leader

Greg,
O just made it into the 1%. It is YOU neo-cons that have put America where it is. 35 years ago, before you neo-cons gained control of most of CONgress and the WH, America was a strong vibrant nation. Now, since reagan, we have done nothing but head downhill. And it is always with you neo-cons and religious nut jobs lying constantly.

Re: Billboards about energy independence compare Obama, Dems to Iranian leader

That's funny. After reading your tripe, it is obvious that you do not have a clue of what you are talking about. You attack me personally, but do not say where I am wrong.
Please show me where the neo-cons are not fighting against NG/electric.

Personally, I am guessing that your objection is my calling the neo-cons out for being constant liars. And yet, all you have to do is look at the garbage that they say.

Or if you object to what I said about Mikloski, show me how you think that he can win. The guy has zero chance since he will not focus on what is needed. Like coffman, he is dancing around with all of the easy fluffy partners, while disregarding the situation.

Re: Congressman Jared Polis and partner proud parents of baby boy

You are deliberately trying to confuse loving with a particular physical expression of it.

Re: Congressman Jared Polis and partner proud parents of baby boy

Jared.
"Jack Cobb, steelworker: “It was like a vampire, they came in and sucked the life out of us.”
Mr. Soptic: “It was like watching an old friend bleed to death.”
Mr. Romney: “As I look around at the millions of Americans without work, it breaks my heart.”
Mr. Wiseman: “Bain Capital sought elimination of the pension plan and termination of employee and retiree life insurance and health insurance.”
Mr. Soptic: “I was devastated. It makes me angry. Those guys were all rich, they all have more money than they’ll ever spend.
